Biography

Mateu Hernández is CEO of Turisme de Barcelona. He was the founding CEO of Barcelona Global and held leadership roles at Casa Batlló and Barcelona City Council, including CEO of Barcelona Activa. His work focuses on urban development, talent, tourism, and city branding. He has advised cities like NY, Oslo, Torino, and London, and served as Secretary of the International Advisory Board of the Smart City Expo.
