Biography

Mme (Dr.) Maimunah Mohd Sharif, Mayor of Kuala Lumpur and Advisor on Sustainable Urbanisation, is former UN-Habitat Executive Director (2018–2024). She led global climate and urban agendas, advanced gender equality, and now drives Kuala Lumpur toward carbon neutrality by 2040 under the CATEE principle.
