Biography

Head of the International Affairs Office, Municipality of Genoa, since 2002. In this role, Mr. Saba represents the city in international meetings, fosters relations with governmental and diplomatic authorities, and promotes partnerships and twinnings between Genoa and other cities. He has managed European cooperation projects since 2004 and coordinated over ten initiatives, including the Eurocities Annual Conference 2011 “Planning for People.” Within the Eurocities network, he served as Genoa’s representative at the Executive Committee (2003–2012), chaired the Economic Development Forum (2015–2016), and co-chaired the Working Groups on City Branding and Digital Citizenship.
