Biography
David Zipper is a Senior Fellow at the MIT Mobility Initiative, where he examines the interplay between transportation policy, technology, and society. The author of over 200 articles in outlets including The Atlantic, The Washington Post, and Bloomberg, he coined the term “car bloat” to describe the ongoing expansion of automobiles.
