Biography

Anna Ramos Director of Fundació, Mies van der Rohe since 2016. Associate professor at ETSAB-UPC and international lecturer. Assistant Dean at ETSAB-UPC (2014-16). President of Young Architects’ Association of Catalonia, AJAC (2005-08). Principal of her own studio in Barcelona (2000-16). She studied architecture at ETSAB-UPC and TUDelft and holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies - doctoral programme in Architectural Building, Restoration and Renovation UPC.

Barcelona will be the World Capital of Architecture in 2026. Over the course of ten months, and through activities held across the city’s ten districts, a diverse, open, and participatory program will bring architecture, urban planning, and landscape design closer to all citizens. This session aims to show how these disciplines improve everyday life and can help address global challenges through first-hand insights from leading experts.
