Biography

Anna Calvete Moreno is Head of Research at UCLG, the world’s largest network of local governments. She coordinates the GOLD VII process on the Economies of Equality and Care, a global participatory research initiative exploring how local and regional governments can put care and equality at the heart of governance. She also coordinates the GTF’s yearly report on SDG localization. With over 13 years of experience in local governance and international relations, she focuses on linking research with policy and advocacy to advance equality, care, and sustainable development at the local level.
