David Zipper

David is a Senior Fellow at the MIT Mobility Initiative, where he examines the interplay between transportation policy, technology, and society. The author of over 200 articles in outlets including The Atlantic, The Washington Post, and Bloomberg, he coined the term 'car bloat' to describe the ongoing expansion of automobiles. David previously worked in venture capital and held leadership roles in city government in New York and the District of Columbia.

Karen Vancluysen

Karen is Secretary General of POLIS, the leading network of cities and regions on urban transport innovation. Since 1998, Karen has been involved in urban transport networking and policy activities, and EU R&I covering a wide range of urban mobility topics. She has been a speaker and moderator at many high-level events in Europe and beyond.

Marc Rozendal

Marc Rozendal

Marc, CEO of EIT Urban Mobility, is an international business leader with expertise in mobility and transport, focused on transformation, innovation, and sustainability. Most recently, he served as the Managing Director for ride-hailing scale-up, Ola, and as CEO of Cab Guru, a transport technology startup. Prior to these roles, he held several senior positions in influential public transport companies, including Transdev Nederland and Transdev’s Connexxion.
